Conferences of the Heinrich Böll Foundations (selection)
Three times a year representatives of the Heinrich Böll Foundations of all federal states (Landesstiftungen) and the Head Quarter meet in order to exchange thoughts, develop ideas together and, if necessary, discuss problems specific to the federal states in the group. Each year, the group is chaired by a different federal state, which then invites participants to the summer conference.
Workshop „Nommer les lieux en Afrique contemporaine: enjeux sociaux” (Niamey, Niger)
The theme chosen for this international symposium was African Neotoponymy, i.e. the production of place names on the continent and its contemporary social and political issues.
